Welcome to The George Hotel

Situated in 'The Heart of England's Largest Village', The George Hotel is friendly, comfortable and elegant with ample parking in our own managed car park, situated opposite the inn. Our large open bars are busy with locals and afford our guests the opportunity to mix with and get a flavour of North Devon life. Our chefs create menus which are based on locally sourced food at reasonable prices and we offer a range of accommodation (check availability). Recently inspected by the English Tourist Board we were judged to be a very solid 3 star Inn.. In addition to this we have an authentic Thai menu running alongside our traditional English menu and a Thai takeaway.
Braunton is ideally situated for business, leisure and sporting persuits in North Devon. Being within easy reach of Barnstaple, and our beautiful beaches, renowned for surfing, wild and stunning Exmoor, Glorious Devon countryside and championship golf courses.

The Hotel is also on the bus route (the bus stop is actually called The George Hotel) with regular local bus services to Barnstaple, Ilfracombe, Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay as well as a National Express stop.
